Short version

Unclench does not require an account and does not store personal data on any server. Your exercise history, mood entries, and preferences stay on your device.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — which exercises are popular, how often people practice, and where people drop off in onboarding. This data is anonymous and cannot be tied to you personally. No advertising identifiers are used.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following locally via UserDefaults:

• Your quiz answers (body symptoms, stress level, sleep, triggers, schedule, goal)
• Your personalized plan (reminder frequency, enabled exercises, quiet hours)
• Mood check-in entries (before/after each exercise)
• Sound preferences (voice selection, volume settings)

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all data.

Third-party services

The app uses Firebase Analytics (Google) for anonymous usage statistics. No advertising frameworks, crash reporting services, or other third-party SDKs are included. We do not share data with advertisers.

Notifications

The app uses local notifications to remind you to take breaks. These are scheduled entirely on-device. No push notification server is involved.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
